David’s' education and passion for art began as a child, in books, galleries and museums all over the
world. He had his first show at age 13 in Minneapolis, which earned him awards, ribbons and press
recognition. He later studied at the Mpls. Art Institute, the University of St. Thomas, the University of
Houston and the Otis Parsons School of Design in New York. His paintings have been so well received
that he continually allows himself to explore new ideas and subjects.

The bold strength, simplicity, richness and subtlety of his work are the result of painting and re-painting.
Discovering the relationships between space and shapes to create a harmonious composition is his specialty.
His sculpturesque paintings feature a solid, sensual quality of organic shapes and an earthy nature. David
has developed fans and built relationships with people from all walks of life. .
